Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before filling out the entry form for the tennis tournaments hosted on our platform.

1. Scope of Service & Role

This website solely provides services for online entry registration, draw/match schedule preparation, and technical tournament management (refereeing).

2. Payments, Cancellations & No-Shows

• Payment: Payment of the entry fee is made exclusively on-site at the reception desk of the hosting sports center/club prior to the player's first match.

• Cancellations: Entry cancellations are accepted only up to the official entry deadline date and time (prior to the publication of the draw).

• No-Show: After the draws are posted, in the event of a non-appearance without timely and justified notice, the player will be awarded a walkover loss, and the head referee reserves the right to reject future entries from that player.

3. Venue Liability & Players' Health

• Liability for athlete safety, court suitability, and the provision of first aid rests solely with the management of the sports facility hosting the tournament.

• Players participate entirely at their own risk and are required to have undergone all necessary medical examinations certifying their fitness for sports activities.

• The organizers accept no responsibility for the loss or damage of personal belongings. The safeguarding of personal items is the sole responsibility of their owners (players, companions, coaches, and spectators).

4. Junior Participation (Under 18)

In the case of players under 18 years of age, the online entry form must be submitted exclusively by a parent or legal guardian, who provides explicit consent for the minor's participation and acceptance of these terms.

5. Head Referee Authority & Tournament Rules

• Matches are conducted strictly in accordance with the official tennis regulations of the ITF (International Tennis Federation), the Hellenic Tennis Federation (HTF), and the applicable Code of Conduct.

• The head referee is responsible for enforcing these rules and reserves the right to modify the schedule, court assignments, or match format in the event of adverse weather, emergencies, or delays. The referee's decisions on all match-related matters are final.

6. Media Rights (Photos & Video)

During the tournament, photographs or videos may be taken for the promotion of the event on the tournament's website and social media channels. If a player (or parent/guardian of a minor) does not wish to have their image published, they must inform the head referee in writing before the start of the tournament.

7. Personal Data Processing (GDPR)

We respect your personal data and comply with applicable data protection legislation:

• Entry Submissions (Google Forms): Tournament entries are submitted electronically via the Google Forms platform. The collected data is used exclusively for the requirements of conducting the specific tournament.

• Publication of Results: Participant names, categories, and match results are publicly posted on the blueace.gr website.

• Newsletter Emails (Brevo): Provided you give your explicit consent via the registration form (optional field), your email and phone number will be registered on the Brevo platform solely to inform you about future tournaments. You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time via the link provided at the bottom of every newsletter email.

8. Event Cancellation / Postponement & Force Majeure

In the event of cancellation, postponement, or interruption of the tournament due to force majeure (e.g., severe weather conditions, power outages, facility technical failures), the organizers and the platform bear no liability to compensate participants (e.g., for travel or accommodation expenses).

9. Intellectual Property

Website content, logos, draws, match schedules, and generated media material constitute the intellectual property of the platform. Reproduction or commercial exploitation without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

10. Amendments to Terms

The platform reserves the right to modify these terms of use at any time. Changes take effect from the date of their posting on the website. Participants are advised to review the terms prior to submitting each new entry.
